Fringe Festival 2025 Press Conference

We are excited to announce that the Fringe Festival 2025 will take place from January 2 to January 26, 2025. This vibrant and creative event invites artists to showcase their talents, featuring over 100 performances across diverse art forms, including classical music, jazz, contemporary pop, traditional Chinese music, theater, dance, multimedia, film screenings, workshops, and art therapy concerts.

The festival will showcase performances from local, Macau, mainland Chinese, and international artists, featuring both emerging talents and renowned masters. Participants include internationally acclaimed jazz guitarist Eugene Pao, jazz maestro Ted Lo, two-time world harmonica champion CY Leo, award-winning pianist Rachel Cheung, and Hong Kong’s first all-female jazz orchestra. Over 1,000 artists will be involved, making this a highly anticipated event in the arts community.

The press conference also invited numerous performance groups participating in this year's Fringe Festival, including musicians, dancers, and theater artists (with an accompanying attendance list). Among them, 2017 World Harmonica Festival champion Gordon Lee, Brazilian cellist Rafael Kalil residing in Hong Kong, German dancer Christine He, Second Associate Concertmaster of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra Anders Hui, and dancers Paris Wong and Ken Mak delivered exciting demonstrations to kick off the festival, expressing their heartfelt wishes for its success. Mrs. Leung Tong Ching-yee, Chairperson of the Fringe Club Board, also expressed gratitude to all participating groups, stating, “Achieving this event again requires the support of everyone. We hope the public will enthusiastically participate in the festival’s activities and celebrate this artistic celebration unique to Hong Kong.”
