You'll groove to the beats of classic Disney tunes that will have you feeling like you're right back in the happiest place on earth. But that is not all; brace yourselves for an electrifying performance that will feature famous Japanese animation music in a stunning jazz big band style. Not to be missed!
About The Basic Notes Jazz Big Band
The Basic Notes Jazz Big Band was founded in 1993 by a group of Hong Kong amateurs who were enthusiastic about jazz music. The band has participated in the Hong Kong Youth Arts Festival, the Fringe Festival, the Big Band Fest, Slider Asia, the Macau Band Festival & Band Fair, Taiwan Chiayi International Band Festival and Taipei Big Band Madness. In Hong Kong, they have performed frequently at City Hall, the Cultural Centre, the Fringe Club and many other venues.
The evening featured works by jazz masters from different eras, including Dizzy Gillespie, Wayne Shorter, Phil Woods. New works by modern jazz stars such as Michael P. Mossman, Jeff Jarvis, and Kris Berg will also be added. There are also popular classics such as Moon River, Europa, Just the Two of Us.
