Synopsis
The combination of a well- established, award-winning classical chamber music ensemble, a piano trio (Violinist Mr. Andrew Ling, Cellist Mr. Antonio Roig Tarros and Pianist Ms. Gigi Ip) and an outstanding Hong Kong based award-winning photographer and architect, Mr. Tugo Cheng highlights the event of the night, called “Landscape is Loud”, that has never been seen before by the audience.
A sensible night exchanges and illuminates two art forms, Music and Photography; and cultural values, West and East, which allow audience to encounter the world of tradition and innovation that spans the ancient and contemporary in the visual arts and music. This concert will allow the audience to compare Piano Trio works from Spanish Composers Tomas Breton and Enrique Fernandez Arbos--premiering in Hong Kong--to familiar works like Piazzolla Four Seasons and Enrique Granados. In contrast to the more conservative concert halls, the Dairy Fringe Club will be transformed into an experimentation and collaboration between photographers and musicians discovering the unseen beautiful Landscapes in China and some of the not-yet-heard Spanish Piano Trio works. The aim is to guide audience to experience the complete essence and sensation of Music and Landscape altogether as if we were all there listening the live concert.
