It was just a college hobby. It was just a group of utterly bored undergrads who had enough of books and macbooks. They came together - in a somewhat obscure way - and jammed out some garage songs. Then they thought they might just make some good music together. People came and went, but the cool ones stayed on. Ernest and Gladys stirred it up and weren’t letting Deanna, Bonnie and Samuel go anywhere else. Tak? He had no idea he was jumping into this bottomless pit - but he happily did the right thing. The group knows no genres, but having acquainted long enough with Mozart and Bach through their music training and influenced by their favourite groups from Pink Floyd, Guns n’ Roses to Bon Jovi, Taylor Swift and local divas Faye Wong, Eason Chan and the like, the band’s music feature a fusion of classic rock, psychedelicies, and contrapuntal melodies occasionally. 

Tux has performed all over Hong Kong since 2009 and its members have their musical footsteps in every continent around the world. They released their debut EP on 1 October 2012.

The band is active in public performances and competitions. They have received numerous awards including  【The Voice of China 3】Hong Kong Selection – Champion, 2014 Hong Kong Youth Band Competition 2^nd runner-up, 2015 Music Army! Band Competition – 2^nd runner-up and 2015 Asian Beat Competition – Finalist.
