Bryan Woo & Friends Live @ Fringe Club

Independent singer-songwriter Bryan Woo presents his first personal full-band concert.  Together with his band UTURN and his music-loving friends, Bryan will share his stories about his music life through pop songs and original songs.

Bryan was an internet singer-songwriter at Cmidi.com before studying for his Bachelor’s degree in Music (composition and music production) at Hong Kong Baptist University.  After graduating, he concentrated on vocal education, establishing his music centre, Vocal Stage, and focusing on classical vocal and a cappella singing – he performed solo roles in opera productions by Opera Hong Kong and Musica Viva, and formed Zense, a local a cappella group.  Since joining local band UTURN last year, Bryan has renewed his interest in performing and composing pop music.

UTURN

Sometimes people lose their true direction in life, getting trapped in their day-to-day routines.  If you’re stuck on a path you didn’t really want to take, why not turn around and search for another one?  UTURN, formed in 2015, brings together five full-time musicians, all with different musical backgrounds and expertise in many different genres, so they’re enthusiastic about exploring and integrating the uniqueness and possibilities of all those genres.  The band is currently working on producing its first E, with five original songs.
