Synopsis
Guy Le Claire is acknowledged as one of Australia’s and Asia’s premier guitarists. On both electric and acoustic guitars, he creates his own unique and distinctive mix of jazz, blues, pop, world, experimental and rock. He has released seven CDs, and 2014 sees the release of three CDs: “Guy Le Claire Trio – 2”, “Guy Le Claire – SOLO 3” and “Guy Le Claire – Hitz”.
Guy studied at the Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA), the Australian Institute of Music, the London College of Music and the Banff Centre for Arts (Canada), and has also undertaken private studies in NYC, China and India. He has toured/recorded with famous Australian pop/rock bands and Australia’s best jazz artists. Based in Hong Kong for over a decade, Guy has toured to China, Taiwan, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, India, Canada and Australia, and has performed with many of Asia’s finest jazz musicians and pop stars.
