Bow and Ink – Music with Poetry

Experience an afternoon gathering of sensory counterpoint within the historical, artistic atmosphere of the Fringe Club, where every poem has its musical echo. Celebrating the International Day of Poetry, we braid together international verse and powerful chamber music. The Asiartic Camerata string quartet and clarinetist Maša Mujić offer evocative musical responses, intertwined with live readings of selected poems. Guiding this fusion are literary specialists Antony Huen and Eugenia Ng, who will unveil the hidden poetic sources behind key scores, allowing us to trace the direct lineage from the poet's page to the musician's final note. An immersive matinee fusion of live music and spoken meaning.
