Community Drum Jam – Japanese Special

Join Japanese percussionist Kumi Masunaga in November's drum jam. This month’s special guest, Etta Lee (@hkjapanesemusic) will bring the authentic sounds and festive energy of traditional Japanese shamisen (三味線) to the Fringe Club! This special session features large and medium-sized Taiko drums alongside a diverse collection of African, Latin American, and Asian percussion. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, no prior experience is needed! Group drumming is not only fun but also relieves stress and boosts immunity. Doors open at 7:30pm —seats are first-come, first-served, so arrive early to pick your drum! Early bird offer until Nov 18. ​
