SoVi : When Chinese Meet Western

SoVi is a six-member band dedicated to the fusion of Chinese and Western music, seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary styles. The band consists of pianist Vince, saxophonist Dickson, erhu player Blue, double bass player Jonathan, guzheng player Lea, and vocalist Kasey.

 

SoVi specializes in arranging pop and jazz music while incorporating elements of Chinese music, resulting in a unique and engaging musical experience. This showcases the diversity of music and fosters emotional resonance with the audience. The evening’s program will feature selections that span multiple decades and genres.
