On 8 June 2025, singer-songwriter Manson CHEUNG joins seven vibrant young musicians from the Department of Media Design and Technology of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts to present the “sing6hoi1 zi1 nin4” concert, inviting everyone to share in this journey of creativity and collaboration. The performance will feature these young talents' fresh reinterpretations of Manson’s songs, offering a novel listening experience, alongside new compositions that radiate youthful energy and creativity.

Inspired by the Zen and Buddhist philosophy of “No Mud, No Lotus,” the concert emerged from Manson and the young musicians’ reflections on self-discovery and new friendships, capturing the vitality of youth. Using the lotus flower as a metaphor, the new works celebrate living in the moment and pursuing dreams. This concert aims to share a message of love and passion, conveying hope that shines through even in tough times. No matter one’s age, with a heart full of passion, everyone can bloom like a lotus.
