Synopsis
The theme of Chill WILD Cultural Music Day is African animals. African ecological conservation is one of WILDAID's key projects in 2023. This event aims to raise awareness and understanding among attendees about the African conservation situation held by WILDAID. In doing so, we hope to inspire them to take action to support conservation efforts and attract attention to the ecology of Africa from Hong Kong people.
The event will consist of two parts: workshops and a music show - The workshops will combine calligraphy and contemporary painting to help attendees deepen their understanding of different African animals through culture and art. An information board will be set up at the workshop venue to provide more details about our promotional content.
For the music show, four bands with different styles will be invited to perform, including Topao & BN Buddies, Don't Panic, Wantamnam, and Shuffle Stuff. The diversity of band styles mirrors the diversity found in African ecology, with each band offering their unique characteristics. We hope that attendees can learn more about the style of the band they first encounter.
Through this event, we aim to convey conservation awareness in the chillest way possible and demonstrate that enjoying life can also be a way to support conservation efforts.
