Bon Voyage

CouLisseMen is a local trombone ensemble, formed in May 2013.  “Coulisse” means “slide” in French, referring to the action of trombonists.  The members include current music students and alumni of Hong Kong Baptist University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, plus some music graduates from overseas.

The aim of CouLisseMen is to provide a platform for young local trombonists to promote and develop trombone chamber music in Hong Kong.  The group had its debut at the SliderAsia Trombone Festival 2013, and has performed at many events since then.  In 2017, CouLisseMen presented the “Juicy Sound” concert, with the HK JazzBones, performing jazz trombone ensemble music, and was also one of the guest ensembles at the SliderAsia Trombone Festival.  Their wide repertoire ranges from re-arranged classical music to 20th-century contemporary music and pop music.

Remarks:
• Admission: 30 minutes before show time.
• Free seating.  No more than four people can sit side by side, and socially distanced groups of four consecutive seats are evenly distributed throughout the venue.
