I AM An Artist Exhibition

This exhibition is the Hong Kong element of the international “Artist Support Pledge” campaign that started in the UK in March 2020, then spread to Taiwan and Hong Kong. The Hong Kong project is managed by the Innovative Arts Media Association (IAMA).

From 6 April to 30 June, 100 Hong Kong artists posted their artworks for sale on the IAMA website, and in a live video on Facebook on 22 June, 30 of the artists were randomly selected to participate in an exhibition at the Fringe Club. Each of them will exhibit one actual, real-world artwork, and will stay on-site in shifts to welcome visitors.

The aim of the campaign and the exhibition is to enable artists to support each other emotionally and financially during the COVID-19 pandemic by promoting and buying each other’s works. Collectors, curators, other artists and any people who are interested in art are welcome to visit the exhibition and purchase works.

Come and browse this exhibition of works in a variety of media and styles, and support up-and-coming young Hong Kong artists.
