DomestiCity - Wu Chun Yin Aries solo painting exhibition
I think painting is a process of recording life ,space and time. I am used to paint from life. I love to observe things changing in time. It may be a plant or just a corner at my house, they would attract me to paint them. I want to reveal the life behind the objects.
About the artist
Aries was born in 1985 in Guangzhou. He received his Bachelor Degree of Arts (Fine Art) in painting and drawing from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. In 2011, he established “Aries Art Studio” in Hong Kong, China. He thinks painting is a process of recording life and time. It always leads him to touch the soul of nature. He loves to observe things round his everyday life. Everything is unique, even a little spoon has its own story. When something experience the passing of time, there is always a story behind. His role is like a recorder; he records details of things, time and memory.
