Synopsis
Tickets available on art-mate website & Fringe Club box office:
This new musical, written and performed by students of Sha Tin College with the support of Hong Kong’s infamous Not So Loud Theatre Company, tells the story of Iphegenia, a young girl with a fateful name, chosen to be this year’s failure in the school system. In a dystopian world of school exam pressures and constant deadlines (sound familiar?), how do Iffy and her family cope when they receive the news? Why has she been chosen and just how will she fail?
This tale of the fictional world of Aulis will entertain whilst provoking discussion about how we help young people to cope when all is not well in their real Hong Kong lives.
Come and be part of the movement to support student wellbeing in our city. The profits from the performances will go towards providing counselling services and other wellbeing projects for those less able to afford them.
