Performed by pianist Sinyu Kwok and violinist Yusi Yang, "An Evening of Liszt" features the original works and re-arrangement by Liszt.

 

Sinyu Kwok graduated from the International Christian Quality Music Secondary School in 2010, and obtained her Bachelor of Music at The Boston Conservatory in the studio of Jung-Ja Kim.  She then did further studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music, obtaining her Master of Music and Artist Diploma in the studio of Kathryn Brown. Kwok has demonstrated impeccable technique and rich musical expression in her performances. She wishes to share the beauty and goodness of music through her playing, to alleviate the stress and burdens in the hearts of her audience, and is passionate about bringing blessings to all through her music. 

Dr. Yusi Yang, a notable violinist in Hong Kong, graduated from the University Mozarteum Salzburg and settled in Hong Kong in 2009.  She joined the Hong Kong Sinfonietta as a contract player in 2010.  Yusi is the founder of the Hong Kong Society of Arts and Charity Limited, a co-founder of the Greater Bay Area Philharmonic, a Consultant to the Open University Orchestra, a member of the Human Resources Planning Commission, a member of the Community Panel of Art Form Panels under the LCSD, a member of the Advisory Panel on Vetting of Amusement Games/Machines, a member of the Kwun Tong Central Area committee, and a member of the Guang Dong Women’s Federation. Yusi was awarded a Commendation from the Home Affairs Bureau in 2020 in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the promotion of community building, music and the performing arts.

• Free seating. No more than eight people can sit side-by-side.
