The Legacy of Bamboo-shed Theatre 2021 – Fanny Wong Watercolour Exhibition

Fanny Wong’s inspiration for this exhibition came from her love of Chinese Opera performed in traditional bamboo theatres. Through her art, creativity, innovativeness and talent, she aims to pass on the true heritage of the bamboo theatres and Chinese Opera to her audience and the generations to come.

 

Fanny was born in Hong Kong and graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She later gained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Australia.

She now serves as a member of Chinese Artists Association and is a Standing Director of the Association of Overseas Chinese Artists, a member of the Chinese Opera Figure Painting Institute, a founding member of The Hong Kong Artists Association, and Honorable Art Consultant of The Hong Kong Society for the Deaf.
