The Bach Jukebox

Listening to Bach’s music is about a state of being.   While Beethoven conjures up the improbable imagery of a hero’s struggles against fate, Bach’s music conjures up... the present, which is not really conjuring of any kind but simply uncovering something that is already there as we speak.   For sure, society needs the kind of hope offered by Beethoven, but we also need to take a moment and remember who we are, and that is what Bach’s music can do.   Come and pick your favourite pieces by Bach, or discover new ones.
