What is life like for the LGBT+ community in Hong Kong? What is it like to feel different from others or hide your true identity and feelings? Find out in a powerful Verbatim Theatre performance by Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong (LPCUWC). LPCUWC is an international pre-university boarding school home to 254 students from 80 different countries. Its mission is to nurture future world leaders for peace and sustainability.

Verbatim Theatre is a form of documentary theatre that uses the actual words of people as a basis for the performance, giving voice to those often unheard or unrepresented in society. For the Verbatim challenge, eleven LPCUWC students have just one week to meet the LGBT+ community, hear their stories and produce a performance sharing their words and experiences in Hong Kong. See and hear true stories of LGBT+ life in Hong Kong! Clocked and Closeted is supported by Community Business Hong Kong and Pink Alliance.

Entry is free, but all donations go to the work of our LGBT+ collaborators.

Language: The show is in English with some Cantonese.

Age limit: 12+

Duration: 90 minutes
