This four-piece band was born in 2014, and the members’ thirst for expression and creativity is still unquenchable.

“We have a perfect definition of our sound, and we choose to take different paths on our musical and creative journey.  It’s just like us – we all came from different Hong Kong-based bands (Staway and Memoimoil, from as far back as 2008), and we’ve played hundreds of local live gigs, including with overseas bands visiting Hong Kong (Anberlin, Sliverstein, Nature Living…).”

With its new lineup, the band attempts to inject a new twist and an extra pinch of spice to extend its expressive range.

Mockingbird

Mockingbird is an alternative rock band formed in 2013 and based in Hong Kong.  

“The initial concept in naming the band was derived from the classic American novel “To Kill a Mockingbird”.  The word “Mockingbird” resonates with us because it’s used as a metaphor to describe innocence and childhood, which we’ve all been through.  We hope to deliver our message and values from our hearts, through contemporary musical ideas, to help everyone find their true selves deep down.”

stereo is the answer

In the summer of 2013, four musicians gathered to converse with music; stereo is the answer.

stereo is the answer (SITA) is a modern rock band consisting of musicians from per se, 11:PM and Empty Tomb.  They’ve played at various music festivals, including the YAMAHA Asian Beat - Asian Grand Final (Tokyo, Japan), the Silvermine Festival, and SpringScream (Taiwan).

They were the winners of the YAMAHA Asian Beat 2015 (HK) - CHAMPION & Best Vocalist awards, and also won Best Vocalist and Best Bassist at The Underground X Parsons Music - the Battle of the Bands 2015.
