Synopsis

Going North is Grace Law’s third solo exhibition in Hong Kong.  Grace has extensive experience in low-light and Arctic photography, her style of shooting revealing the scope and expanse of the northern terrain.

A landscape photographer must have the ability to explore the abstract potential of the landscape whilst preserving the impact of the moment.  Grace is able to do that, and her images express the poetry of light.

The exhibition features locations in Scotland, Iceland and Norway, covering parts of the Arctic Circle that Grace explored with her cameras between 2014 and 2016.  All the photographs in the exhibition were printed in London.

  • Landscape Photography Guided Tour by Grace Law

Shooting landscapes in dramatic light requires a delicate balance of location, light and time. Grace Law, a veteran of low light and Arctic photography, shares her experience in fine art landscape photography with selections from her two-year photo project "Going North".

** The 1-hour guided tour will be bilingual (English and Cantonese) and held at the Fringe Club ACLL Gallery. Workshops are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
