Synopsis
Don’t miss the Asian première of John & Jen, a two-person chamber musical that’s an intimate look at the complexities of a family’s ever-growing, evolving relationship. This is the story of Jen and her relationships with the two Johns in her life: her younger brother, and his namesake, her son, who is growing up in a confusing world. The musical follows John and Jen from childhood to adolescence and beyond. Western District’s production will feature Nathan Koval as John and Sarah Martin as Jen, along with the full, original orchestration for piano, cello and percussion.
