A year and a half later, Hong Kong still hears the echo of the elusive Edward Snowden and the spotlight he cast on the city. Luke Harding’s book The Snowden Files captures the extraordinary story of the man responsible for one of the most spectacular intelligence heists in history and explores the mystery behind him, his actions, and their explosive repercussions.

Author Bio:

Luke Harding is an award-winning foreign correspondent with The Guardian. He has reported from Delhi, Berlin and Moscow and has also covered wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. He is the author of Mafia State and co-author of WikiLeaks: Inside Julian Assange’s War on Secrecy (2011) and The Liar: The Fall of Jonathan Aitken (1997), nominated for the Orwell Prize. His most recent book, The Snowden Files, was published in February. Luke lives in Hertfordshire with his wife, the freelance journalist Phoebe Taplin, and their two children.
