Join local indie-pop/Britpop quintet the Benefactor and special guests innisfallen this jovial night as the former release their 6-track mini-album. Check out the digital version which streams online in May as well as previous releases. As the two Beatlemanic groups will likely say: a splendid time is guaranteed for all!

 

The Benefactor

Formed in 2013, Hong Kong indie-pop quintet The Benefactor has been known for its diligently crafted 60s-inspired pop, influenced by the sounds of The Beatles, Blur, Belle & Sebastian and others.

The band had its debut gig at The Wanch in August 2013, before taking the stages of Wow and Flutter the Weekend, the Fringe Club, Hidden Agenda, Backstage Live Restaurant, Fullcupmusic, the Silvermine Bay Festival, etc.

The Benefactor, the group’s debut EP, with five live favourites, was released in October 2015, followed by a single,Victoria, on 1 Jul 2017.  Its first mini-album, Belle Époque, is available to stream in May, and the separately mastered vinyl format will be released on 2 June 2018.

innisfallen

innisfallen is an indie rock foursome established in 2005.  The group released its debut album, Reallusion, in 2007, and performed at many events, including music festivals and universities’ annual shows. They were featured in the 2010 OFTEN Festival and the 2012 Spring Scream Music Festival (Kenting, Taiwan).  The band will reunite in June 2018 to celebrate the release of The Benefactor’s Belle Époque.
